Cooling off at Partial Comfort's summer retreat

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT – YOU MAKE OUR PRODUCTIONS OF THESE NEW PLAYS POSSIBLE!

Over the past 13 years, Partial Comfort has positioned itself as an incubator for provocative plays and serious artists that have gone on to shape the American theatre in huge ways. Our new play programs, have played a significant role in launching the careers of playwrights including Guggenheim Fellow Thomas Bradshaw, Obie Award-Winner Robert O’Hara, and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow Samuel D. Hunter.

It’s your committed support, both as an audience member and donor that makes so much of what our small but mighty company does possible. Income from ticket sales cover just a percentage of our productions, new play development programs, and general operating costs. We ask you to help us close this gap by clicking the donate button now and making a generous tax-deductible donation. Any size donation will make an immediate impact and go directly toward supporting artists and their work.

In their quiet, unassuming, profoundly dedicated way, this company has had a significant impact on the American theatrical landscape. Personally, the company has had an immeasurable impact on my career, as it has had on countless actors, directors, designers, and other writers. For anyone concerned with the health of the American theater, ensuring that companies like Partial Comfort continue to thrive is, in a word, essential.
